I am passionate about using computation to solve real-world problems. My PhD research focused on large eddy simulation of turbulent reacting flows with application to rocket and scramjet propulsion. In the process, I obtained substantial experience in the development of massively-parallel simulation software for high-performance computing systems and had the opportunity to collaborate with researchers from multiple NASA centers, Google, AFRL, DLR, and others. Now, I leverage that background in high-performance computing to accelerate LLM inference at Red Hat, working on vLLM, the premier open-source inference engine.
